NOAA Day

At NOAA Day, marine biologists and oceanographers from NOAA interact with aquarium guests, answering questions about their work in ocean habitat conservation, weather warnings, safe and sustainable seafood, aquaculture, ocean exploration, marine mammal strandings, and endangered species.

My job was to coordinate with NOAA and Aquarium staff to set up and promote this annual event. This included planning the layout of informational booths, securing commitments from volunteer staff, helping them plan the activities and materials at their booths, documenting the event through photography and short informational videos for social media, and using attendance data and other metrics to evaluate the success of each event.
