This ongoing campaign is helping reduce human-caused disturbances to coastal wild life by providing common-sense guidelines for viewing marine mammals hauled out on West Coast beaches and by educating the public about the harmful effects of disturbing hauled out seals and sea lions, especially mothers with pups.
Catch of the Week
To celebrate the rebound and successful management of ground fish (rockfish, lingcod) populations on the West Coast and a thriving commercial and recreational fishery, I helped develop a social media series with fun facts and recipes.
